Looking for the CampusConnect app?

CampusConnect is your university’s community app, a space to meet the people you will study with before you arrive. If you need help registering or logging in, tell us your university below. You can also apply to become a Community Ambassador and support new students yourself.

Become a Community Ambassador

A CampusConnect Community Ambassador gives incoming students guidance and support and champions the university experience. You are a helping hand who puts new students at ease. It is much more than answering questions: we want you to bond with the students, make them feel part of the university community already and get them excited about starting university.

We won’t throw you in at the deep end. We run a full Community Ambassador workshop with your university, where you meet fellow Community Ambassadors and members of the CampusConnect team and learn the communication and mentoring skills to advise and reassure students.

  • Never leave a question unanswered

What will I be doing as a Community Ambassador?

As a Community Ambassador there are a number of ways you can contribute to the community:

  • Make sure everyone feels at ease, comfortable and excited about studying at university.
  • Help connect incoming students with like-minded people.
  • Share the knowledge, experience and information you have gained at university.
  • Be our eyes and ears: help us moderate and keep the space positive for students to connect.

Supported by your community manager

Supporting incoming students is an important part of your role, and we want you to feel supported too. Adele Davey, our community manager, is on hand throughout your time as a Community Ambassador.

  • She is your main point of contact at CampusConnect.
  • She supports you with your role on the app.
  • She shares her community-building knowledge.
  • She gives you her tips and tricks to keep a community engaged.
  • You can message her with queries, questions and suggestions.
  • You can report any safeguarding issues to her.

Your fellow Community Ambassadors on the platform will support you too.

“Put yourself in the mind frame of your first year at Uni. Think about what would you have liked to know before starting and pass on your knowledge to the students.”

Troubleshooting the app

If you are having problems with the app, we are sorry, and we want to make it right. Here are the most common fixes.

  1. The app shows as offline when I open it, even though I’m connected

On Android, clear the app’s data and cache:

    • Open your phone’s Settings.
    • Tap Storage (on Android Oreo or earlier, open the App manager).
    • Tap Other apps to see a list of your installed apps.
    • Find the CampusConnect app, open it, then tap to clear data and clear cache. Clearing cached data does not clear other data such as logins, but it often fixes things.
  2. On an iPhone

Uninstall the app, then download it again from the App Store. You don’t need to register again: select Log in and enter your existing account details.

  3. I’ve tried these fixes and it’s still not working

You can log in to your CampusConnect service in your browser instead. If you can’t find your university’s login page, use the form at the top of this page.

  4. Anything else

To discuss any other issue, or to give feedback, email support@campusconnect.ie or tweet @_CampusConnect_.

Staying safe in your community

Your university’s CampusConnect is a community space only for applicants and students. You can block anyone who behaves inappropriately and anonymously report messages, and Admin reviews every report.
