Guide offer holders through key decision points

Give offer holders more touchpoints with their peers and with you, the admitting university. A dedicated CampusConnect community manager, peer-led groups, regular reports and one-to-one connections help applicants make the early connections that are critical for conversion and long-term retention.

Community development

  • Community listening and insight from candidates show where new groups are needed, and we create them.
  • A dedicated community manager is assigned to your university for ongoing liaison, support, training and guidance on community performance, growth and development.
  • Initial and ongoing training sessions for staff and ambassadors, so they are fully equipped to engage with the community.
  • Detailed monthly reports on user engagement, conversion rates and thematic analysis of community conversations.
  • Regular feedback loops with your team to keep refining the community experience based on user feedback and analytics.

Groups

  • Community-led groups help prospective students find their niche and form the early social connections that matter for enrolment and long-term retention.
  • Peer-led interest groups, from academic societies to student life, close the ‘belonging gap’ while applicants decide.
  • Community engagement data shows which applicants are most active and interested, so your recruitment team can prioritise them.

Reports

Reports come monthly, or more often if you need them. They cover all activity in the community, with insight into how students interact and engage, and they can be adapted to each institution.

Your community manager also meets your team to go through the data and agree a plan of action for improving each month.

Connections

  • Direct one-to-one connections between prospective students and your current students and alumni make a daunting application process feel human.
  • A safe, private space to ask candid questions and hear from peers helps applicants decide sooner.
  • Bringing applicants into a supportive network early reduces drop-off, so they feel seen and supported from their first enquiry.
  • One mobile-first hub for ambassador outreach that students enjoy using raises volunteer engagement and response rates.

“Working with the CampusConnect team has been really positive. They’re receptive to our ideas, they come with great suggestions, and we trust their expertise. We’ve used the community in ways they’ve recommended, and it’s worked.”

What does a community manager do?
